About

I'm Lucy Monie Hall — book editor turned software engineer, and founder of the Tech Philosophy Collective, where I help people in tech build a robust self-concept, sustainable internal system and get the career they actually want.

I learned to code while parenting three kids and navigating obstacles like perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and a lack of belonging. Since then, I've worked as a developer in start-ups and scale-ups, mature consumer products, and as a consultant. I've figured out what it takes to thrive in this industry and love my work, as well as enjoying the people I work with.

I can help you design a way of working that's true to who you are and the relationship you want to have with your work. You'll find out how to hack your time to get more done in less time, and reconnect with your enjoyment and creativity.

For more on my story, here's an article about how I learned to code.
